Abb's principle
The measurement result would be correct and precise only when axis to be measured coincided with the standard axis or its extended axis.Abbe principle is the most basicprinciple of length measurement, while its significance is to avoid a measuring error caused by track error. The distance between the grating line and the tested line where locatedis called Abbe bias. Combined with Abbe error and corresponding angle, the space coordinate of the measurement point is the measuring result.Therefore, the error caused by the actual position is called the Abbe error.When the axis of the measuring instrument do not coincide with the axis of the workpiece under testing, the Abbe error appears, which affects the measuring accuracy of the measuring device.
